The ladder

Hi guys!! happy new year!!

I just wanted to start this year off, by telling you. No matter what others say to you, and if you feel that you are not good enough. Remember this, you are stronger and you have worked hard in life to feel down now. Life will throw people at you all the time, and when you grow older, your boss can be 10 times worse than the kids calling you out now. This does sound scary, but don’t forget about the people who have made you, you today. Those people who have put so much time into you becoming the person you are today. These are the people who are taking care of you through thick and thin, Do this for them.

Be yourself and climb the ladder, the ladder of life. The ladder is rickety and it might break, but in the end the ladder will only bring you up. Don’t forget that you have the power to change your world, but you need to start with yourself. Change the way you think and start believing in yourself. Even if the people are showing you that you are not capable. This ladder is the way life works, you can choose to stay strong while climbing your ladder and thinking about reaching the top. Rather than choosing to be afraid to climb further. In the end, when you look down. Be proud, of what you have accomplished as a friend and as a human being.

Live your life the way you want to, prove them wrong and use your anger and turn it into determination, and use that to help change the world. The earth is dying, and so is our positive thinking. These are the two most important things in life , in my opinion . So instead of thinking about how you will never be able to do it, start planning how you will try it out, If it doesn’t work try again and again. Because as one very knowledgeable man said failure is a key to success. We need to start by changing our selves and then we can unite as one and work together to save our home. Work together, with new and our old friends and work together with people from all around the world, to save our planet and each other.

don’t lose hope

Imagine this, you are walking to class the week after you wrote your test. You are scared that you won’t get a good grade and won’t be able to get an exemplery(or the highest grade) and you are nervous. When you get your grade it is not what you expected but actually the opposite and its a grade you thought wasn’t possible to get and you are happy. But then you see someone with a grade that they don’t look happy with and they look stressed. What do you do? It could be the other way around completely as well. Everyone in science gets a Mastery or Exemplary and you get a Consolidating in a subject you thought you worked so hard for. You feel disappointed in your self, as usual.

This feeling is what we all feel at some point in our lives, unfortunately some people feel this every second of their lives and some people feel it very irregular. This feeling hurts, I know. The feeling of when you put so much effort into making other people happy, so much effort into trying to be a good person in everything you do.. And you see the absolute opposite result that you hoped for. You feel useless, unwanted and stupid. You feel like you just did all this work for nothing. This feeling will come back during your whole lifetime. This feeling sucks, Some people forget their purpose in life, the purpose that will help other people but mainly themselves. This purpose allows you to see the end goal. But without one and feeling rejected how is this possible? Life is not fair, you need to accept it. No matter how much you deny it, we all know that it is true. These feelings define us as people and make us who we are. We can choose how we want to take these feelings and turn them into a motivation.

But it is important to keep going. Don’t forget who you are. So many people think that they can’t get back up. But it is possible ,everything is. You don’t need to prove what you are capable of to other but to your self.Β  Losing hope can hurt you more than anything. Be strong for yourself. Don’t worry about anything else and you will be sure to see some changes and if you don’t , don’t worry. I always like to think that if I know that I am being true to myself and I put in the effort , I know I have done my part. Young teenagers and students are put under pressure to be how the others are and they don’t realise that they are growing. You will be tested on so many subjects in life, but life gives you other tests as well and these tests are the most important ones. These are the ones that matter the most. So, don’t worry about what the paper says and do what your heart tells you to do. You deserve so much in life , when you have faith in what you’re asked to do and what you do everyday. When you do the right things and put in the correct effort you will get back the right treatment. You are a great person and dont forget it

Our minds and bodies

Hi again! Hope you are doing fine!

Today I wanted to talk you guys about something that we should all value and take care of these things since they are what allows us to feel how we feel. One day we may feel on top of the world and the next day might feel like you have hit rock bottom. One day you may feel like you are wanted in your community and the next day you feel like you are invisible. We all have those days, and we all need to remember we need to do what is best for ourselves. Our mind and bodies should be treated with care because we don’t know how much they can do for us , until they get damaged. You may be thinking what is she trying to say? What I am trying to say is that we forget that our minds are always at work , either worrying or getting nervous and excited. Our minds are always at work and we don’t even know it.

So, its important to give it rest as well as treat it with care. When you are having one of those highest moments of your life, feel accomplished with what you have done, and when you are having those rock bottom moments think of how you can reach it if you be calm, treat your mind and your body with care and listen to your mind before you make your decisions. When we get into certain situations we often act underΒ  pressure and make bad choices but we can always remember and train our minds to keep our cool (something which I haven’t yet mastered) in order to make the right decisions for ourselves. You have the power and the choice to how you want to live your life.

We can practice while exercising , remembering to keep our cool and pushing ourselves further and further to get better and better. As well as in our school or work lives, where we can always grow as learners by pushing ourselves to think deeper and work harder in order to expand our knowledge as well as grow as a person. When we are in situations where we need to use these skills we can because we know how to. Trust me, you may be thinking “Ha , sure mindfulness can help me get into Berkley or Harvard”. But it does help and you don’t know until you try it πŸ™‚

An example of when you can use this; when you are in class and everyone seems to be laughing about something but you don’t know what until you realise its you. Instead of getting annoyed at them and showing them you give in, you can always remember to stay calm and focused on what you came to school for to learn. In these situations is when we learn the most about others and ourselves. You learn that you are strong enough to overcome these situations and show them you are not bothered. But if you are you can always let them know what they are doing is wrong. I always feel that even though the number of times your teachers say school is a safe place to be who you are, I feel insecure of who I am because of how the class might react. Until I realise I have a choice to keep feeling scared and insecure or be who I am and not care about how others may react. It sounds hard, I know, but is that how you want to waste your time? Worrying about how they look at you when you could be learning ? Although the feeling of insecurity never really goes away completely, you can always surround youreself with people who make you happy and surround yourself with people who feel you can be YOU. Don’t let the hate get to you or don’t let the pressure get to you, because you are beautiful person and you deserve a beautiful story and you can choose how to write it but remember that you can always change the plot of the story but never the person writing it. Be you, and be happy.

Journey of life

Today I want to take the time to let you know about a journey that we all go through and that we will keep going through and this journey teaches so many things on the way and sometimes we forget the importance of this journey and the impact it has on our lives. This journey allows us to learn about our community along with ourselves in the process. It is important to acknowledge ourselves because we all are humans. We all deserve respect, honour and loyalty, but most importantly we deserve to have a good life. Even though, we live in the 21st century we forget that we are all different. We all are unique and we all have different interests. We forget that we all are going through something in our lives and that we are going through change, and sometimes we forget to acknowledge that. The importance to acknowledge that can change a lot. When we are going through vulnerable moments in our life is when we learn about ourselves the most. When my classmates starting sending notes around my class about me, I thought why do they need to bother me? Why can they not focus on their work? Those moments in life we all doubt our selves feel insecure about our bodies and sometimes even feel hatred towards our classmates, but we also forget that they are going through something and they might also be feeling insecure about themselves. Trust me , I know its hard to belive but you can ignore them, that skill takes a lot of practice but ignoring is not the only option you can also stand up for your self. Let your voice be heard, stand out and be proud of being different.Don’t feel insecure feel happy, don’t doubt yourself that you are beautiful because you are. You deserve to be heard and you deserve to be appreciated and don’t let anyone get to you. Life will always decide to throw something at you that you aren’t prepared for no matter how many times you tell it that you can’t catch properly, everyone is going through it and everyone is facing some challenge, if not today tomorrow and if not today maybe yesterday. But sometimes you just got to catch life and show it what your are capable of and let it see you for who you are. Remember you are not alone and when you do feel like it think of this ; you can be whoever you want to be and if people don’t want to support you for who you are , are they worth your time worrying about? Even though it will take a lot of courage you can stand up to them and let them know you are proud of who you are and nothing can change that. It might feel like everything is falling apart, but is it really? Life is journey that we can’t control sometimes but we can control how we want to see it.
